You have a choice of two sizes for these ground platform feeders. The unique "A" legs keep these feeders well off the ground and away from moisture. Reinforced screen bottom trays keep the seeds and grains clean and dry which keeps everything fresher and healthier. These are rough rustic cedar, just the way the wild birds like 'em.

Platform feeders appeal to so many backyard birds. Many sparrows will fill a platform feeders and dine together. White-crowned, Field, Song, Chipping, and more all hop aboard. They are often accompanied by towhees or juncos. We've had spectacular male Painted Buntings visit these ground feeders when they have millet in them. Cardinals prefer platform feeders because they are most comfortable with an open field of vision. House finches, tufted titmice, doves and many more birds are regular visitors.

You can create enticing combinations of food for your wild birds: sunflowers, safflowers, peanut chips, cracked corn, bluebird nuggets, diced fruit, orange halves, millet, etc.

Don't feel you have to fill the feeders. We know that ground feeders might attract unwanted squirrels. You can always just toss enough food for the day.
