You don't have to put up with bigger birds scraping seeds to the ground with these feeders. We don't know why jays, for instance, continue to scrape sunflower seeds out of feeders when they can see that only sunflower seeds are inside. They can waste your valuable seeds if the edges of your feeders are open. The closed feeding trays on these feeders eliminate the temptation. Inland cedar doesn't come from coastal locations.
