Wild Birds Information

Page Eight - Photographs and Information

(Click here to begin at Page 1)

click to goCLICK HERE to locate your Audubon Society. They are well versed in rare sightings and can help you identify any unusual wild birds. They may also have state lists of birds to guide you and/or they can direct you to the best field guides for your specific area.

I am beginning to create individual pages for individual wild birds. These will be limited to the birds that I have photographs of. I don't use any outside images or photographs for this website. I also don't copy text from books as so many other websites do. These pages will not be full of facts and information copied from the experts. They will contain observations.

Individual information pages:

lesser goldfinchLesser Goldfinch - Carduelis psaltria
Ladder-backed WoodpeckerLadder-backed Woodpecker - Picoides scalaris
Wilson's WarblerWilson's Warbler - Wilsonia pusilla

Hold your mouse over the thumbnail images to see the names of each of these bird. Works with IE browser. These birds will have individual pages soon.

White-winged Dove Eastern Screech Owl Rufous Hummingbird
Bewick's Wren Scissor-tailed Flycatcher Blue Jay
Western Scrub Jay Carolina Chickadee Tufted Titmouse
Red-breasted Nuthatch Inca Dove

Shorebirds, Wading Birds, etc.

American Bittern Green Heron
