A full-sized 17-inch squirrel baffle is attached to these hopper bird feeders. This is a two-in-one product. Made in the USA. Clear hopper and tray allow for monitoring seed levels.

The squirrel must be forced to use the hanging line to approach the bird feeder. These bird feeders must be placed in the described location for the squirrel baffler roof to have consistent success.

HOW THE BAFFLER ROOF WORKS:

If the squirrel can not jump on the feeder, it will be forced to try climbing down from above. The squirrel baffler roof keeps the squirrel from reaching the seed at the bottom of the feeder. If the squirrel lets go of the hanging line, it will slide off and fall to the ground. The squirrel can not hold on to the hanging line and reach around the baffle and down to the seeds at the bottom of the feeder.

If you have tube bird feeders or feeders that weigh up to 10 lbs. when filled, these handy spinning mechanisms can discourage squirrels. Hang your feeders from the bottom hook and turn the power on. No assembly required. Once the weight of a squirrel is felt, the spinning action begins. NOTE: We have hung our test samples only a few feet off the ground. The squirrels can jump up but after they take a ride a few times they give up. They don't get our seeds.
