HOW TO POSITION SOME OF THESE BIRD FEEDERS FOR OPTIMUM RESULTS:
If squirrels were easy to foil, you wouldn't be here looking for a squirrel resistant feeder! We want to help you get the best and most consistent success with these bird feeders. If the first location doesn't work, keep trying.
Squirrels can jump across from 7-10 feet from one object to another. They can jump up to 5-6 feet vertically. Squirrels will drop 9-10 feet to feeders from above.
Weight-Activated Category (See more below) Squirrels will have a lot of trouble getting any seeds out of these well designed wild bird feeders. In the majority of cases, the weight of a squirrel will cut off access to the seeds.

Caged Category (see more below) The cages surrounding these wild bird feeders should keep squirrels from stealing seeds and chewing on the feeding ports. Undersized squirrels could possibly get into some of these feeders.
Some of the feeders have seed trays to catch dropped seeds. Some have built-in weather baffle domes. The caged feeders below offer double protection. The tube feeders are squirrel-proof inside the wire cages. Your birds can dine in safety protect from hawks and cats. Are cats a reality in your neighborhood? Why not offer protection to your favorite birds.
