These platform bird feeders come with the added addition of a squirrel baffle. You are getting two products in one. Please keep that in mind when you see the price. Made in the USA.

Squirrels will be baffled by the 15-inch polycarbonate dome above the platform feeding tray. You may raise or lower the baffle to exclude larger birds if you desire to. Sometimes doves can invade backyard feeders to the level of blocking all other desirable songbirds. These feeders can exclude the hordes of larger birds. The baffle also provides some weather protection for your seeds.

The 13-inch diameter feeding platform is 1-inch deep. Platform feeders attract the largest number of wild birds. These feeders allow the birds to see around themselves. Cardinals, in particular, choose an unobstructed view while feeding.

You may fill the tray with seeds or anything else you wish to offer to your birds. The feeders can hang from the included 10.75-inch solid brass rod or be pole mounted using a pole which has a 3/4-inch threaded adaptor.
