Hang these feeders near flowers to increase the number of hummingbirds that find them. We use splashy flowers like red cannas to attract hummingbirds. The canna leaves are large and create pools of rain water which we've observed hummingbirds using to bathe in.

Hummingbirds eat lots of invertebrates for protein. Flowers and vegetation attract insects so you can supplement your sugar water meals. Some suggestions: bee balm, cardinal flower, coral honeysuckle, cuphea, salvia greggii and other salvias.
